NSW: Yacht found off New South Wales north coast

The family of a missing English woman feared drowned in a yachting accident this week
arrives in Australia tomorrow from Watford, England.

Eighteen-year-old CHARLOTTE LENAS is missing, presumed drowned, following the capsizing
of The Rising Farrster last weekend.

LINDA YARR, 35 of Airdrie in Scotland was killed in the accident while the remaining
four crew members swam 16 hours to shore clinging to debris.

Police have confirmed that a yacht found yesterday by the crew of fishing boat is The
Rising Farrster.

The yacht, crewed by six Britons, lost its keel and overturned early on Sunday morning
near Evans reef, south of Ballina -- about 270 kilometres north of where it was found.

It was found yesterday upside down, missing its keel and drifting eight nautical miles
east of Scotts Head, on the New South Wales north coast.

Police divers are yet to decide whether they'll carry out an internal search of the yacht.

It's believed the missing woman's body could be trapped in the yacht's hull as she
was below deck when the vessel capsized.
