FED: Fisherman washed off rocks
A man's been washed off the rocks at Malabar beach in Sydney's south while fishing
with a group of friends.
An ambulance spokeswoman says the 30-year-old man was swept into the sea just after 9am (AEDT).
She says the man's friends threw some sort of inflatable device to him, but he missed
it and was washed away.
The group then ran for help.
After the alarm was raised, a paramedic was winched to the rocks from a helicopter
but there's been no sign of the man.
